DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

A collection of poems about the Britain where Indians came and settled featuring first generation characters along with second and third generation descendants. The poems encompass a range of attitudes reflecting the diversity within Nagra’s own community, other minority ethnic communities and the indigenous white population.

COMMENTS ON THIS DOCUMENT:

Nagra both challenges and evokes empathy by presenting attitudes, thoughts and feelings in a humorous yet enlightening way. He is a poet and English teacher born in England to traditional Sikh Punjabi parents who came to Britain in the late 1950’s.
