Description of Dissemination Event:

On the occasion of the conference about the history and experiences of Italian emigrants to Belgium, Fausto Gentili, ICSIM, presented the Routes Portal as an example of innovative methodology to teach the European History of migration. On this occasion, a delegation of the students who are working at the Routes Project took part at the conference and visited the Italian emigration sites in Belgium, including the coal mine of Marcinelle.

(Regional Committee for the integration of foreigner peoples in Vallonia Region), ULB (Bruxelles Free University), A.R.U.L.E.F.
