Riconduzione dell’Accordo dopo il 2009 ed estensione alla Bulgaria e alla RomaniaL’Accordo sulla libera circolazione delle persone tra la Svizzera e i Paesi dell’UE è in vigore dal 2002. Dopo aver maturato esperienze per oltre sei anni, la Svizzera è ora in grado di decidere con cognizione di causa se intende proseguire la libera circolazione delle persone oltre il 2009 e se desidera estenderla – non senza periodi di transizione specifici – alla Bulgaria e alla Romania, i due «nuovi» Stati membri dell’Unione europea. Con questa scelta, la Svizzera opta anche per i Bilaterali I.
