This article written to report on a protest march organised by members of the British Chinese community was also a response to a growing concern amongst the community about what it means to be Chinese in Britain.

The generally wide dispersal of the Chinese population has resulted in a lack of clear identity despite the fact that there have been Chinese living in Britain for over 200 years.

COMMENTS ON THIS DOCUMENT:

There is a link to the Chinese Community website Dimsum set up in 2000 largely to serve the needs of second generation British born Chinese.
