Reports

This section provides access to two types of National Reports on the history of migration. They collect the results of a survey carried out by teachers and experts.

The first type of National Reports presents the point of view of the countries who received migrants.

The second type of National Reports presents the point of view of the countries from which the emigrants departed.

Also a Transnational Report is available. The Transnational Report carries out a comparative analysis of all the National Reports.

An introduction to the methodology used for the creation of the National and Transnational Reports is also available. The document contains also a proposal on how to use the materials for educational purposes.

National Reports of the countries that received migrants

The National Reports of the countries that received migrants focus on integration process from the hosting citizens point of view.

National Reports of countries from which emigrants departed

The National Reports of countries from which emigrants departed (Italy, Romania, Slovak Republic) highlight the main steps of the integration of the emigrants from their own point of view.

Transnational Report

The Transnational Report carries out a comparative analysis of all the National Reports and proposes an interpretation of the history of European migrations in the 20th Century.
